The project was described throughout as 24 partners in 11 countries, while the list itself names 25 organisations. The difference lies with two Belgian bodies, EBN and ARCTIK, which were closely linked and named together as “EBN - Innovation Network // Arctik - Communications” alongside a separate entry for ARCTIK SPRL.

The mix of partners reflects the project’s design. Universities and research institutes did most of the analysis, but the consortium also included a UN office (UNISDR), the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre, an insurance broker (Willis), an insurance-industry initiative (ClimateWise), a railway software firm (OpenTrack), a Valencian water company, an Italian regional environment agency and the Wadden Sea Forum. Several of those organisations were themselves partners in the case studies they helped to analyse.

Many partners can be matched to a case: OpenTrack and the University of Potsdam to the alpine railway case, ISA to Chamusca, the Universitat Politècnica de València to the Júcar basin, FEEM to the Po basin, LSE to London, IIASA and ASE to Romania, HZG and the Wadden Sea Forum to the Wadden Sea, and HKV Consultants to Rotterdam. The full set is in the case-study atlas.
