D2.1 Working paper: Inventory of risk assessment tools
Deliverable D2.1, due in August 2013, took stock of the models, methods and data that ENHANCE partners held at the start of the project and turned them into a shared toolbox for the case studies.
- Deliverable: D2.1, working paper, work package 2
- Full title: Inventory of risk assessment and management tools and methods (also given as “Catalogue and toolbox of risk assessment and management tools”)
- Named on the record: Anna Timonina, as uploader; no author list is printed
- Timing: delivery month 9, which corresponds to August 2013 (project month 1 being December 2012); no version number printed
D2.1 was one of the first reports ENHANCE produced. It catalogued the risk analysis tools, methods and data that the partners were using when the project began, so that each case study could see what the consortium already had before building anything new.
The working paper does three things. It lists the tools and data held across the consortium. It describes the concept of iterative risk management, in which risk is assessed, acted on and reassessed as conditions and knowledge change, rather than settled once. And it sets up a toolbox of individual models and tools that the case studies could draw on in their own analyses.
The report served as a reference inside the project as well. Several entries in the ENHANCE glossary of terms cite D2.1 as their source, and the January 2015 publications roundup listed it first among the work package 2 reports (video and publications record). Definitions used across the project are collected in the glossary.
The report is listed in the document library.
