ENHANCE video released, with a roundup of recent publications
At the start of 2015 the ENHANCE project released an introductory video built from examples in its ten participatory case studies, together with a list of the reports it had published so far.
On 20 January 2015 ENHANCE released a short introductory video, hosted on the Vimeo channel of its communication partner Arctik. The film drew on examples from the case studies, which the announcement described once again as the core of the project: ten participatory case studies on reducing disaster risk.
The same announcement gathered the publications released to that point. The list ran as follows:
- the response to the European Commission’s Green Paper on disaster insurance (record of the response);
- D2.1, an inventory of risk assessment tools (D2.1 record);
- D2.2 on a resilience framework and D2.3 on governance indicators for partnerships;
- D2.4, conceptual guidelines for the case studies (D2.4 record);
- D3.1, an inventory of risk scenarios (D3.1 record);
- D4.1 on risk perception and risk cultures in Europe;
- D5.1, a review of economic instruments (D5.1 record);
- D6.1 on policy instruments and indicators;
- D7.2 on partnership development in the Po river basin (D7.2 record).
Read as a set, the list shows where the project stood two years in. Most of the titles are inventories, frameworks and guidelines, the groundwork for the case studies rather than their findings. The results on insurance instruments and on the case partnerships came later in 2015 and 2016. All the deliverables are described in the document library.
