ENHANCE visual identity and copyrights
The ENHANCE project published guidelines for using its visual identity, together with its logo and a set of images for its case studies, offered for information, research and education.
The ENHANCE project set out guidelines for anyone using its visual identity. The materials were offered for information, research and education. The project noted that it was co-financed by the European Commission under the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), and it asked users to credit the authors of photographs and videos.
Three kinds of material were offered for download:
- the visual graphical guidelines, as a PDF;
- the ENHANCE logo, as an .eps file;
- slider images for the case studies, as .jpg files.
The case-study images are a useful index of what the project covered. There was one each for volcanic eruptions, Alpine rail, the Po basin, Júcar drought, heat waves and forest fire, and two for flood risk. Flood was the only hazard with two images, which matches its weight in the project: London, Rotterdam, the Po basin and the Wadden Sea coast all dealt with water in one form or another.
The volcanic image stands for the case study on the 2010 ash cloud and aviation (Eyjafjallajökull case study). The Alpine rail, Po basin, Júcar and forest fire images correspond to the cases in Austria, Northern Italy, eastern Spain and Chamusca in Portugal, all listed in the case-study atlas. The heat wave image refers to the work on heat and health in European cities, which produced a study of heatwave plans in Belgium and the Netherlands (heatwave study record).
The project’s communication partner was Arctik, based in Belgium, which also handled press questions (press contact).
